What we publish, and why.

WorldlyWave is an independent digital publication covering money, travel, culture, technology, wellbeing and the way we live now. We publish for readers who want the useful version of a subject rather than the longest one.
What we are trying to do#
Most of what is written online exists to occupy a keyword. We would rather publish fewer pieces that answer a question properly — with the reporting done, the numbers checked, and the parts that are uncertain described as uncertain.
How we are funded#
WorldlyWave is funded by display advertising. Advertisers have no involvement in what we cover or what we conclude, and no advertiser sees an article before it is published. Where a piece contains an affiliate link, it is disclosed in the article itself.
Who writes for us#
Every article carries a byline and links to a profile describing that writer’s background. If a piece is written by more than one person, or edited substantially by someone else, we say so.
